The seminar begins with registration, lunch and an expo from 10:00 until 23.59, when dinner party ends.

Dr. Nigel Cook: Is our current approach to dairy cattle welfare
consistent with industry sustainability goals? Approaches to housing and
managing cattle to maintain social trust

Christophe Lafougère, Gira: What does the future of global milk production look like and what will consumer and buyer demand be? How do we prepare ourselves for the future?

Dr. Kelly Barratt: How does Saputo promote dairy cattle welfare and sustainability on a global scale with different kinds of dairy production systems?

Ulf Jahnsson: Sustainability in Valio – What are Finnish dairy farms doing to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035?

David Kammel & Jouni Pitkäranta: The history and future of cow housing

The day will conclude with a dynamic panel discussion on global dairy welfare, followed by a meet and greet, outdoor access, sauna, and a Dinner & Dance party with DJ Vesa.

07.30 – 13.00 The final day features a morning tour of a Finnish dairy farm, including a 90-minute workshop where 4dBarn will guide participants through an efficient robot barn in four groups focusing on VIC, cow handling, gating, and the robot area. After tour you
will have access to the Spa to change your clothes
