Designing a new and technologically advanced cow barn is a challenging task, especially if you are planning to milk the cows with the robots. Improper planning can reduce work efficiency in the barn. In order to make planning less stressful and of the highest possible level, CowPRO together with the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences organized a seminar entitled Cow barns with robotic milking. At the seminar, experts from the Finnish company 4dBarn, one of the very best on the market regarding designing AMS barns, gave lectures and presented the most important factors in planning a new AMS barn. Their barns can be found all over the world, in the USA, the EU, Canada and even in Japan, and also their first project in Slovenia is on the way.
